Interested in getting a text message when an item is on hold for you at NPL?Look no further! The Library is now offering hold pickup notifications via SMS text messaging. Visit the My Account page on our website and follow these simple steps:
-On the My Account page click to log in
-Click on the Text Message Notification link

-Enter your Library Card Number (No Spaces) and PIN to
log in

-Click on the Add Phone Button
-Choose a name for the phone label section.
-Input the 10-digit phone number that you wish to receive SMS notifications. Enter the number with no spaces or special characters
-Check the box under Hold Pickup Notice
-DO NOT check the Remove Phone Number Box.
-Click on the Save Changes Button to save your SMS contact information
Once you have opted-in to the service, it may take up to 24 hours for applicable text messages to start.
Remember Hold Pickup notices are currently the only type of notice available via the text messaging service. Due date reminders and other notices will not arrive via text.
