Margo Gerber Makes Easy Move From Her Former Condo in Northville to Fox Run in Novi
Erickson Realty and Moving Services Helps with Downsizing, Home Staging, Packing, Etc.

NOVI, MI (July 5, 2017) -- Last winter, Margo Gerber decided she wanted to sell her Northville condo and move to Fox Run in Novi. By early spring, she had pared down decades’ worth of belongings, packed up and settled into a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment home at Fox Run.
“My friends said, ‘You only started talking about this in February and you moved in April; how can that be?’” Margo says.
A big part of the reason that Margo’s move was so easy was because she had access to Erickson Realty and Moving Services, a special program that offers complimentary coordination of all realty and moving needs, including downsizing, home staging, packing, and selection of a real estate professional.

Margo worked directly with Fox Run Personal Moving Consultant Kristin Kluge, who helped her figure out how her existing furniture would best fit in her new home and connected her with an experienced real estate professional, an auctioneer specializing in downsizing, and a reliable moving company.
“Kristin was wonderful,” Margo says. “She gave me three movers, three packers, and three realtors, and I interviewed everybody before choosing which vendors to work with.”

Margo says the real estate agent she chose went the extra mile for her and brought in people to deep clean and stage her condo.
“We listed on Thursday, and by Friday we had three offers,” Margo says. “Then we had an open house on Sunday, and by Monday we had eight offers, and I took one that was all cash.”
Another helpful moving professional Margo worked with was the Fox Run-preferred auctioneer. For an affordable fee, the auction company came to her house and cleared unwanted items from her basement, which they then sell and give her 65 percent of the proceeds.
“The auctioneer came again after the movers and took everything that was left,” Margo says. “It was fantastic.”
Margo is getting settled into her new home, which overlooks a lush wooded area on the Fox Run campus. Her move also brought her closer to Meadowbrook Elementary School, where she volunteers twice a week in a kindergarten classroom.
“I love it here,” she says. “I can see the roof of the school where I volunteer, and it takes me three minutes to get there.”
