In case you missed it, here are some shots of the 2014 Novi Memorial Day Parade.
It was a beautiful sunny Memorial Day. Not too hot at parade time, with just enough breeze to make it comfortable. The parade began at 10am, just west of Haggerty on Ten Mile Road, heading west past Novi Road, and concluding at the Novi Civic Center.
There were many entries, including exotic sports cars, Harmony Acres Arabian Parade Horses, baseball teams, boy scout troops and karate clubs, and other entries from local Novi businesses, churches and civic organizations.

Of course, no parade would be complete without a band or two, and this one did not disappoint. The Novi High School Marching Band and the Novi Concert Band both participated, as well as a few other bands.
The crowds were excited by the Novi High School Robotics Club creation "Cyber Young" robot, which launched candy into the air via bursts of air, raining down on amazed kids and grownups alike.

Of course, our Veterans were the focus, and there was a fitting tribute ceremony at the end of the parade.
