• ‘I flushed it': Detroit man flushed machine gun device because he ‘got scared,' feds say (clickondetroit.com) — Federal investigators say a suspicious package containing machine-gun conversion parts was first intercepted at a FedEx facility on Greenfield in Oak Park before being used in a sting operation at a Detroit home. Agents later seized multiple firearms and arrested a 21-year-old Detroit man, who allegedly admitted flushing one of the devices when officers arrived. Oak Park residents should know their local FedEx hub figured prominently in the investigation.
