Brian Birney, President and CMO, served his country and the Marine Corps from 1999 – 2005.
The Birney Directive is proudly Veteran owned. Brian Birney, President and CMO, served his country and the Marine Corps from 1999 – 2005. He was stationed in Grand Rapids with 4th Marine Division, 1st Battalion/24th Marines, Alpha Company as an 0311 (Infantryman). They were deployed to Camp Lemonier, (Djibouti, Africa) to serve as security for the 88 acre anti-terrorist base, U.S. Embassy and Djoboutian Port during Operation Enduring Freedom.
During his time serving in the Corps, Brian won Marine of the Quarter twice and finished his enlistment as a Sergeant.
