CMNtv 10 Week Production Certification Series

The 10 Week Production
Certification Series Class gives you a solid introduction to video production
theory and techniques and certifies you to use CMNtv Field & Studio
Equipment and Edit Suites.

CMNtv Instructors will lead you
through the creation of 6 commonly-produced video projects. You and your
classmates will work as a team, running the cameras, setting the microphones,
planning the shots and editing the final videos that will play on CMNtv’s Cable
and Internet channel.

The course will teach you how to
turn ideas into finished video projects. It will introduce the language of
video and the production workflow, using tools common to productions large and
small.

You’ll learn both Field and Studio
Production and get an introduction to Video Editing using Final Cut Pro X.

• The PCS Class is held three times
annually: Fall, Winter, Spring

• Class is held one night/week for
ten weeks.

• Two sessions are held each
semester: Tuesday Evening 7-9pm | Wednesday Evening 7-9pm.

• All students must attend CMNtv Orientation, held
the week prior to first week of class.
