Luke E. Harlow, professor of history at Oakland University, will explore Abraham Lincoln's evolving opinion on the slavery question over the course of the Civil War. Beginning at 6:00pm, collector Thomas Gordon will have original Lincoln memorabilia on display. Featured will be mourning ribbons, political items, and Lincoln prints.
Also available to view will be the traveling exhibition “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War, which we are hosting at the library until April 13th.
