Provided by the Area Agency on Aging 1B, this presentation will provide participants with basic information across the spectrum of Medicare programs. Participants will learn about who is eligible, how to enroll and what services are covered. Particular emphasis will be placed on information about the prescription drug benefit. Issues regarding supplemental insurance, Medicare Advantage (managed care) plans and how to identify Medicare fraud and abuse will also be addressed.
