The Ransom of Miss Elverna Dower by Laurie Bryant will be performaed by the Oak Arbor School 5th - 8th grade, on Thursday November 17th and Friday November 18th at 7pm. The play is a comedic tale based on O. Henry's classic tale. Casey and her trusty sidekick Tim kidnap their English teacher, Elverna Dower, to avoid a test. She drives her kidnappers crazy by editing their ransom note and assigning research reports on famous kidnappings. But the real twist is that no on is willing to pay the ransom to get her back! Many other colorful characters round out thecast of this family-friendly production. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
