Michigan Boasts 2 of the 17 Most Amazing Christmas Towns in America

Two Michigan towns are on the list of the 17 most amazing Christmas towns in America, a list compiled by Impulcity, a Cincinnati-based website that tracks food, drink and other trends.
Frankenmuth was named the fourth-most amazing Christmas town in America and Mackinac Island landed in the No. 12 spot.
Frankenmuth, located in Saginaw County, made the list primarily because it’s home to Bronner’s, the largest Christmas store in America. Here’s a snippet:

“Just how big is it? Well, they have miles on miles of Christmas Lights, over 6,000 styles of Christmas Ornaments, and 400 styles of nativity scenes, and that’s just the beginning. Mackinac Island is known among tourists as a great place for a summer vacation, but Christmastime is magical.
“... There are fewer than 1,000 residents on the island, which makes it easy for a Santa Claus to come through and drop presents off to every child in town, which is an impressive tradition for this little place,” Impulcity wrote. “You can only access the island via ferry, and only horses and buggies are allowed on the streets, making this for a very unique Christmas experience.”
