Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen

Participating Dairy Queens in Metro Detroit will donate proceeds from the sale of each Blizzard Treat sold today day to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Southeast Michigan’s representative, the Beaumont Children’s Hospital.
“With this year being the warmest on record, Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day is coming at a perfect time to help cool people down,” Beaumont Foundation Associate Vice President Tom McGannon said.

On Miracle Treat Day 2010, participating Dairy Queen locations throughout the United States and Canada raised $5.5 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities. The Dairy Queen system is one of the top 10 contributors to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals having raised more than $92 million since 1984.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a charity that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada and ensures that when a donation is made, it stays in the local community, so that every dollar given goes to help local kids.
“We appreciate our DQ partners and their ongoing support to raise funds that help local kids through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals," McGannon said.
