Oakland Township residents can take a survey regarding a dog park, horse arena, and community garden!

How would you like to have A Dog Park, Horse Arena &Community Garden in Oakland Township!

 Hi, Neighbors! Our Parks and Recreation Commission is looking into the development of a dog park, community garden, and outdoor horse arena at Watershed Ridge Park located at the northeast corner of Lake George and Buell Roads. These activities would comprise about 32 of the 170 acres leaving the remaining undeveloped acreage to hiking, riding trails, leased farming and land preservation. 

 It is the purpose of this project to utilize our parks in the best interests and enjoyment of our citizens while maintaining the rural character of our township.
