Oakview Students Take the Stage for Variety Show
Hundreds of parents, siblings and teachers flocked to Oakview Middle School Thursday to watch the talented routines.
The spotlight was on Oakview Middle School students Thursday night as they showed off their talents during the school's Variety Show.
Thirty-three students took the stage, showcasing a range of talents, many dressing for the occasion. Some students sang along with the music, while others played their own instruments or sang acapella. Others danced across the stage, some in groups and some solo.
Songs by Adele were popular with students this year, while tunes like "Respect" by Aretha Franklin had the audience clapping to the beat. Students gave the performance their all, with lots of personality streaming into their voices and dance moves, and fellow students in the audience cheered participants on throughout the evening.
