OCHN releases RFP for SUD Needs Assessment

OCHN releases Request for Proposal (RFP): Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services Community Needs Assessment for Oakland County.
The qualified provider who is selected will:
· conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for the Oakland Community Health Network Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) region related to consumption patterns and consequences of substance use in Oakland County. This review must include, but is not limited to, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) priority initiatives of public health, racial equity, social determinants of health, improve behavioral health for children and family, improve maternal infant health and reduce disparities, tobacco use as well as the health indicators related to substance abuse identified by the State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW) for Michigan (see Exhibit 1 packet “Michigan Epidemiological Profile”);

· assist the OCHN in facilitating a local Community Epidemiological Workgroup (CEW) to review the needs and capacity assessment AND facilitate a Community Prevention Planning Collaborative (CSPPC) in establishing priority problems relative to substance Oakland Community Health Network RFP 0373-2023 SUD Services Community Needs Assessment for Oakland County Page 8 of 149 use in OC including the driving forces behind those priority problems unique to the region;
· provide a detailed narrative plan of findings in disparities within the SUD Services Network and any service gaps. This plan should provide direction to OCHN on ways to achieve the intended outcome, assistance with the creation of a targeted response plan, in addition to implementation and evaluation of this plan.

· formulate a written strategic plan relative to the above, including a profile of population needs, identification of high need areas, resources, and community readiness to address priority problem(s).
Proposals due February 21, 2023. Proposers must submit proposals to Jen Hillier at hillierj@oaklandchn.org.
