Teens Get 'Footloose' at School Board Meeting
Lake Orion High School students performed two numbers from 'Footloose' at Wednesday's meeting.
Last weekend theater students wowed crowds with their Footloose performances.
Lake Orion Board of Education members who weren't able to make the show over the weekend got the opportunity to see two musical numbers at Wednesday's board meeting. The lead girls performed 'I Need a Hero' and the lead boys sang 'Mama Says'. Both groups received standing ovations from board members and meeting attendees.
"It was a great performance here and at the high school," said Mary Jo Burchart, school board president.
