Viewfinder: Tulips, Irises and Lilacs – Oh, My!

In spite of the dreary weather, local bright flowers are in full bloom and thriving against the pools of water and drops of rain.

We couldn't go everywhere in Oakland Township to capture the beauty, but the places we went had some stand-out displays of flowers and landscaping. Tulips and irises seem to be the most popular flowers of the season; we came across Tulips of all colors — orange, yellow, red and pink — and irises were trendy in white and purple.
