• Tomahawk Lake fire near Atlanta 90% contained after burning 190 acres (thealpenanews.com) — Onaway firefighters helped battle a 190-acre wildfire near Tomahawk Creek Flooding in Presque Isle County that’s now about 90% contained. Cooler overnight weather and high humidity slowed the blaze, and crews, including DNR and state police, continue monitoring and extinguishing hot spots, with no homes or structures reported threatened.
