β’ 4 local students present winning American 250th essays (ourmidland.com) β Onekama Consolidated Schools students Alaina Dye, Charleigh Siuda, and Charles Vandenberg joined another local sixth grader at the Manistee County Courthouse to read their winning essays on American citizenship. Their reflections on rights, responsibilities, and values impressed local judges and attorneys, highlighting how Onekamaβs young residents are thinking about freedom of speech, religion, and personal responsibility.
