• Late runs help Western baseball sweep Northwest (mlive.com) — Western High’s baseball team treated Parma fans to a dramatic home doubleheader sweep of Northwest, winning 6-2 and 6-5 with an extra-inning walk-off single from sophomore Isaiah Norwood. Strong pitching from Norwood, Brody and Andrew Parrott, plus key hits from Lincoln Levy and Bennett Luke, helped Western battle back from a late deficit in Game 2 and break open a tight opener.
