LIVONIA, MI — Two men are facing charges in connection to a Livonia shooting that left one hurt and resembled something from the "Wild West," according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
A 16-year-old Detroit boy was shot in the leg in the shooting, officials said. His condition was not known.
Terrell Morris, 35, of Redford was charged with seven counts of felonious assault, seven counts of felony firearm, one count of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of domestic violence. He was placed in jail, officials said.

Lamont James Sherman, 45, of Detroit, was charged with one count of lying to a peace officer and one count of tampering with evidence. He was placed in jail with a $100,000 bond, officials said.
Police said Morris and a 27-year-old Detroit woman were arguing at a home on Rensellor Street, near Inkster and 7 Mile Roads at 12:15 p.m. when prosecutors believe the 16-year-old approached Morris and shattered a glass door.

Morris then came back outside the home with a handgun and fired multiple shots at the 27-year-old woman, the 16-year-old boy, a 28-year-old Beverly Hills woman and a 45-year-old Redford man, police said.
The teen boy was shot in the leg in the shooting, officials said. No one else was injured in the shooting, officials said.
Officials said Sherman tampered with handgun evidence at the home before running away. Officials also said he lied to police about the location of the gun during the investigation.
"The evidence in this case will show that this prolonged shooting in Livonia in broad daylight was reminiscent of shooting on the frontier in the Wild West," Prosecutor Kym Worthy said. "This potentially deadly behavior occurred in a residential neighborhood and put people in grave danger."
