Police think that Rivera was an accomplice and that the boy’s 15-year-old sister actually stabbed him. She is also in custody and officials with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office are reviewing charges. Police have not revealed her name.

WDIV said the girl’s family was trying to keep their daughter from seeing Rivera, allegedly prompting the duo’s plot to kill her family.
