Being a therapist and yoga teacher, I learn a lot about family dynamics from clients and then experience my own at home. Use these 5 tips to survive the Holidays in a drama free way!
1. Learn how to set boundaries to protect your needs.
2. Learn how to say "no" without apology.
3. Develop comfort with stating "I don't know" if you tend to be the problem fixer. Let people learn how to make decisions and find their own answers.
4. Relax and calm yourself. Yoga, Meditation and warm baths help.
5. Get rest, your ability to respond more appropriately depends on your state of mind. Tired people tend to be crabby.
