Former Detroit Red Wing Shawn Burr at Holiday Market Tonight with Detroit Moose

Former Detroit Red Wing Shawn Burr Will be signing autographs at Holiday Market Friday night, from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. He will be on hand with Detroit Moose Hockey Club captain Derek Fowler promoting next week's charity hockey game between the Detroit Moose and the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Association.

Tickets will be for the game will be on sale for the game at Holiday Market until 8 p.m. Friday night.

The game aims to raise funds and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. It will take place at Canton's on January 7. The puck drops at 5 p.m. There will be raffles for a number of great prizes, including Red Wings tickets and memorabilia.

A select number of tickets also remain, at $25 apiece, for a chance to skate with the Detroit Red Wings Alumni the day of the game. A special raffle will be held, and the owner of the winning ticket will recieve an official Red Wings Jersey with his or her name stiched on it, and get a roster spot on the team for the game.

There will also be a dinner after the game at , which is just out behind the Arctic Edge Arena by the softaball diamonds. Tickets for the dinner are $50, and include admission to the game, as well as meal and an open bar afterward. All participants in the dinner must be at least 21 years of age.
