Canton Police Arrest Man Accused of Pointing Gun at Estranged Wife's Cousin

Canton, MI — A Canton man accused of brandishing a handgun when his estranged wife showed up with another man to pick up their children is facing criminal charges, police said.
The man under arrest, a 30-year-old man who wasn’t identified, is accused of pointing the gun at the other man after approaching him in the parking lot of the Canton Garden Apartments about 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, The Canton Observer reports

The man with the man’s wife, who is 28, turned out to be her 19-year-old cousin rather than a romantic interest, according to the report.
