Dive into Disney fun for the whole family. This show can't be missed....ONE WEEK-END ONLY- Thursday, May 30 to Sunday, June 2, 2013.  Disney's musical sensation "The Little Mermaid, Jr." brings laughter, fun and foot-tapping tunes to life, courtesy of Spotlight on Youth at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill. Tickets are going fast, so reserve your seats today! The show is approx. 1 hour and 25 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. Perfect for children 5 and up...and those who can't sit still too long!

Director Barbara Bloom says:

"Based on the original tale by Hans Christian Anderson and the Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid Jr,"  tells of a magical kingdom that fathoms below the ocean's surface, where Ariel, the beautiful young mermaid longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father the King, make a deal with the evil Sea Witch, and convince the Prince that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice."

This production appeals to all ages from the very young to the young at heart. It has charm, humor, drama and endearing characters with spectacular costumes and sets, not to  mention great songs! The Disney  production features the familiar movie and Broadway song hits "Under the Sea,"  “Part of Your World," “Kiss the Girl" and "Poor Unfortunate Souls,” plus many more!
