The New 88.1 Record/CD/Music Memorabilia Show

The New 88.1, the student radio station for the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, will present their fourth annual Record Show on Saturday February 25, from 10am to 4pm at the Salem High School Cafeteria. 

The show will feature dealers from throughout the midwest.  Collectors will find thousands of vinyl records, CD’s, import only releases, 45’s and 78’s, t-shirts, posters, and other collectibles.  The music will span many genres including rock, jazz, pop, country, R&B and folk.  The show will also feature special giveaways and door prizes. 

 “Last year was our biggest record show yet,” said Bill Keith, Station Manager, “We had over 200 people stop by to check out the music.  We’re hoping it will be even bigger this year.”

Tickets are $3, $5 for early admission between 9 and 10am.  Students at Canton, Plymouth and Salem High Schools will receive free admission with a student ID.  All of the proceeds will benefit The New 88.1, and will help the station to continue serving the community with unique programming and broadcast training for students.

Salem High School is located at 46181 Joy Rd., at the corner of Joy and Canton Center in Canton, Michigan.
