Fast-Food Worker Allegedly Bites Cop in Ruckus

An employee who refused to work the drive-through lane allegedly stole money after she was ordered to clock out and leave.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI – A former employee allegedly bit a police officer several times on the arm after causing a ruckus at a McDonald’s restaurant last month.

The manager summoned police to the restaurant, located in the 25800 block of Plymouth Road, at 8:44 a.m. on Feb. 26 after the employee allegedly stole cash from the restaurant’s office.

The manager had ordered the employee to clock out and leave the premises after she allegedly refused to work the restaurant’s drive-through window, according to a report on Hometownlife.com.

She did, the manager told police, but not before allegedly stealing cash.

When police caught up with her, a struggle ensued and the officer was bitten. It took several officers to subdue the suspect, who was charged with felony assault, strong-armed robbery and resisting arrest.

The injured officer was treated at a local hospital.
