7 Charged In Stealing $1.7M Worth Of SUVs From Metro Detroit Ford Factories
Police began investigating the thefts after multiple Ford Bronco Raptors were stolen from a Ford factory in Canton Township.
CANTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A group of people are in trouble after police said they stole 16 brand-new Ford Bronco Raptors from multiple metro Detroit Ford factories.
Police said some SUVs were stolen from a Ford factories in Canton Township in October 2022. Investigators then determined those thefts were linked to Bronco Raptors stolen in Dearborn and Woodhaven, police said.
All together, police said 16 SUVs worth $1.7 million were stolen from the factories.

Investigators found ten of the stolen SUVs in Northville, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Texas, Arizona and Alaska, police said.
During the investigation, officials also found five different stolen vehicles, a gun and $28,426 cash that authorities believe was from the sale of stolen vehicles, police said.

Officials from Canton Township, Northville Township, Novi, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, and Oakland County arrested the suspected thieves Tuesday. They are:
- Migel Santiago, 19, of Troy, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and nine counts of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $100,000, or 10 percent, with a home confinement tether.
- Oliaran Pernell, 20, of Detroit, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and 10 counts of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $100,000, or 10 percent, with a home confinement tether.
- Samir Rashed, 21, of Northville, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and nine counts of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $100,000, or 10 percent, with a home confinement tether.
- Julian Lyles, 19, of Detroit, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and eight counts of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $100,000, or 10 percent, with a home confinement tether.
- Dominick Dumont, 19, of Northville, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and one count of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $50,000 with a home confinement tether.
- Abdulfattah Hamed, 21, of Van Buren Township, was charged with one count of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. His bond was set at $10,000, or 10 percent. with a GPS tether.
- Janisse Moss, 19, of Lincoln Park, was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and 10 counts of receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more. Her bond was set at $1 million with a GPS tether.

Their next court date was scheduled for Aug. 25.
Conducting a criminal enterprise is a 20-year felony, and receiving and concealing stolen property worth $20,000 or more is a 10-year felony.
