Johnson Controls' Frank Lebryk recognized by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council

Frank Lebryk was recognized by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) as its Buyer of the Year. Lebryk is vice president of Metals purchasing for automotive supplier Johnson Controls Automotive Seating, which will become Adient on October 31. He is based in the company’s Plymouth, Mich. office.

Lebryk was honored for continuously supporting and growing the company’s women-owned and minority-owned supplier base in a variety of ways including mentoring suppliers to help them form effective partnerships. In the past two years, Lebryk’s team has engaged, quoted and, when competitive and with the right footprint and capacity, awarded an industry-leading number of suppliers in these categories.

“It’s in the core of our DNA to support supplier diversity, now and in the future, as we transition to Adient,” Lebryk said.
