“The Kindermusik Maestro has a mission: helping children become better learners and helping parents understand how to help them reach their highest potential,” said Scott Kinsey, CEO at Kindermusik International.

Schanerberger joins the elite company of the 300 Maestros identified as the top Educators of the over 5,000 licensed educators in the world who teach Kindermusik’s music and movement curricula. Miss Karen began providing Kindermusik at Evola Music in 1998. Today, she is the School of Music Coordinator and the Canton Evola Kindermusik educators reach over 100 families each year through the learning program.

In the last year, Miss Karen has worked with local community education programs and businesses to promote the benefits of Kindermusik classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. In addition she served on the Partnership of Kindermusik Educators board as Communications Coordinator and gave marketing presentations for Kindermusik conferences.

“Kindermusik is more than just another music class. When I asked my families, they described their experience as a music and movement parenting community,” says Schanerberger.

The Maestro Program recognizes licensed Kindermusik educators who master one of two levels in early childhood development: fast-growing programs and outstanding community service.
