Local group hosts men’s night to shed light on human trafficking
help fight human trafficking in your neighborhood

Plymouth, Michigan - To bring greater awareness to men about the problem of human trafficking in the area, Pearls of Great Price Coalition is hosting a November 15 “Men’s Night” fundraiser. The event will take place at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center, 8768 North Territorial Road in Plymouth. A cash bar opens at 5:15 p.m, with dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. The cost of $50 covers a fabulous meal and expert speaker. Registration required.
Titled “Courageous Outrage”, the event will highlight the role men can play in the fight against prostitution and sex trafficking. The featured presentation following dinner is by Greg Bristol, former Michigan State Police Trooper, retired FBI Special Agent and founder of the Human Trafficking Investigation and Training Institute.
Pastor Carrie Wood, founder of the Pearls of Great Price Coalition, is confident the evening will be a real “eye opener” for attendees. “It will speak directly to the hearts of men as protectors of our families. Our goal for the evening is to provide a thorough understanding of the issues, and suggest “real world” ways to be strong, courageous and lend another set of eyes in their own neighborhoods that will help eradicate this problem. We encourage grandfathers, fathers, grown sons, brothers, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends from throughout our communities to attend this important event at Fox Hills. You’ll enjoy a great meal, have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, and learn how you can help prevent human trafficking in your community. After the event, we hope you’ll join us in saying, “Not in my neighborhood . . . not on my watch.”
