Michigan Libertarian Prances Around On C-Span In His Jockstrap: Watch

Warning: No way are you going to be able to unsee the video in this post, and you may very well run from the room crying “My eyes! My eyes!”

Aspiring Michigan Libertarian James Weeks II finally got the notoriety that eclipsed him two years ago when his “Effing BS” free-speech rally standing up for the right to drop the F-bomb no matter who’s around more or less fizzled.

The Livingston County resident’s 15 minutes of internet fame came after he stripped down to his jockstrap and pranced around before C-Span cameras providing live coverage of the Libertarian Party’s 2016 national convention in Orlando, FL, last weekend.

Judge for yourself. And don’t say we didn’t warn you.

The Libertarian stripper from Howell told The Livingston Daily that he took it all — or most of it — off to make a point about core Libertarian values.

"The Libertarian Party is all about free speech and free expression," said Weeks, who performed his strip tease during the time allotted to pitch his wild card candidacy for the national party chairman. "The emperor has no clothes — and what better way to show it?"

After his performance, Weeks dropped out of the race for the party’s national chairman.

The chairman of the Libertarian Party organization for Livingston County, Weeks ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2014, and is a candidate for sheriff this year, running against Livingston County Undersheriff Mike Murphy.

Murphy, a Republican, had a one-word reaction to the video, which has been shared from YouTube tens of thousands of times:

“Unbelievable."
