Michigan State Player Gets Probation For Brawl At Michigan Stadium
Seven players, including Khary Crump, were charged in connection to the brawl at Michigan Stadium in October.
ANN ARBOR, MI — A judge sentenced Michigan State defensive back Khary Crump to 12 months probation and 80 hours of community service Tuesday for his role in a postgame brawl inside the tunnel at Michigan Stadium in October.
Crump was originally charged with a felonious assault, but that charge was later dropped under a deal with prosecutors. He was ultimately charged with two misdemeanor assault charges in connection to the brawl.
The judge also ordered Crump to give back to the community through young people so that he can be a role model for them, which he’ll do through a youth camp.
