Senior Comedy Community

Senior Comedy Community® is a Metro Detroit–based entertainment organization dedicated to bringing humor and connection to older adults. The group produces professional stand-up comedy shows featuring senior performers, serving senior living communities, organizations, and public events throughout Michigan and beyond. By focusing on the unique perspectives of older generations, they provide engaging entertainment that fosters social bonding and joy. At the heart of their mission is the proprietary Find Your Funny® workshop series, which empowers older adults to transform their life experiences into stand-up comedy routines. Through these educational programs, participants build confidence and community while developing their craft under the guidance of experienced professionals. Whether through live ticketed shows or specialized community programs, the organization offers a platform for seniors to share their wit and wisdom on stage. Customers can expect a polished, high-quality production that prioritizes both entertainment and the proven health benefits of laughter. By choosing Senior Comedy Community®, event organizers and audiences gain access to a fearless, authentic, and life-affirming performance experience that celebrates the second act of life.
