Former Plymouth-Canton Teacher's Aide Pleads Guilty to Charges of Alleged Sexual Misconduct with Student
Bridget Caplin is charged with disseminating explicit visual matter, use of computer to commit crime.
(Posted Nov. 14, 2016) PLYMOUTH-CANTON, MI — A former Plymouth-Canton Middle School teacher aide accused of engaging in oral sex with teenage boys pleaded guilty Monday to the criminal charges against her, according to The Detroit News, which said the plea was unexpected after the more serious third-degree sexual abuse charge against 41-year-old Bridget Caplin was tossed when the victim refused to testify. Caplin pleaded guilty to disseminating sexually explicit visual matter to a minor and use of a computer to commit a crime. Her sentencing is Jan. 17, 2017.
