The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps is having an Open House on Monday, August 15, 2016.
Have you ever wondered what the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps are all about? Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a member of the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps? Now is your chance to find out! Please join the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps at our Open House on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 7:00PM to 8:30PM. The Open House will take place in the bus loop behind Salem High School in Canton, MI.
In their 45 year history, The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps have never opened a rehearsal to the public. This Open House will be a rehearsal and then some! Come and get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to wear the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps’ uniform.
People of all ages will have an opportunity see the Corps in action. The Corps’ members will be available to demonstrate their fifes, drums, Guard equipment, and uniforms. Our instructors will be on hand to answer questions. You will also have an opportunity to see if you too could handle the Corps’ instruments, equipment, and uniforms!

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps consist of students, ranging in age from 12 to 18. Their members are from Plymouth, MI and its surrounding communities. The Corps prepares year round for their annual performance seasons. The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the ancient arts of color guard, fifing, and drumming through live performances at parades, historical and patriotic celebrations, concerts, cultural affairs, and other civic events.
