Plymouth Township's Top Cop Steps Between Officials in Dust-Up
Township Supervisor Shannon Price says Trustee Bob Doroshewitz "walking thin line" with "shadow campaigning" accusation.
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI – Plymouth Township Board of Trustees meetings have a reputation for becoming contentious at times.
Tuesday’s meeting supported the notoriety, according to a report by The Plymouth Observer.
According to the report, Supervisor Shannon Price and Trustee Bob Doroshewitz got into an argument and Police Chief Tom Tiderington had to step between them.

Doroshewitz had reportedly criticized Price, who is seeking election to the post he was appointed to in 2015, for using the township newsletter to campaign for re-election. He called it “shadow campaigning” and asked that no more newsletters be sent until after the election.

“It cheapens our community,” Doroshewitz finished.
The report said Price interrupted Doroshewitz while he was talking to a reporter after the meeting. Doroshewitz asked Price to “back off, back off,” and that’s when Tiderington intervened.
