Police Still Looking For Driver In Deadly Plymouth Hit-And-Run Crash

Police are still looking for the identity of a driver that fatally struck a Plymouth Township man more than five months ago.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, MI — Police are still looking for the identity of a driver that fatally struck a Plymouth Township man more than five months ago.

Warren Flagg, 78, was struck by a vehicle on Oct. 30 while raking leaves in front of his home on Beck Road between Powell and North Territorial road, police said.

The driver never stopped after the crash, police said.

Shortly after Flagg was hit, a driver passing by saw Flagg laying near the road and pulled over to help, applying a tourniquet to Flagg’s badly injured leg until medial officers arrived and took him to a nearby hospital where he died, according to a report by Hometown Life.

Officials believe Flagg was hit by a 2007-2010 Pontiac Solstice, which likely had front passenger side damage, police said.
