‘Stranger Danger’ In Canton Reported By Girl, 12
The man reportedly pulled up alongside the girl as she was walking and asked her to get inside his vehicle.

CANTON, MI — Police say they are continuing their investigation into a 12-year-old Canton girl’s report that a man pulled his car up to her as and asked her to get inside as she was walking in the Cherry Hill Village area around 11:30 a.m. The girl go away and ran to a friend’s house.
The man was described as a white male in his 30s or 40s with a dark goatee. He was wearing a beanie cap and hooded sweatshirt, and drive a silver or gray four-door sedan, police said. The vehicle was last reported in the area of Cherry Hill and Denton roads.
Canton Det. Sgt. Dan Taylor told The Canton Observer Monday night that there had been no further reports of “stranger danger,” but warned residents to be alert and report any suspicious incidents to (734) 394-5400.
