Tattoo Artist Slings Ink, Unhappy Client Swings Fists: Police
A customer at a Westland tattoo shop who wasn't happy with design allegedly assaulted and took back $50 from artist.

WESTLAND, MI - Unhappy with his tattoo, a Westland man is accused of roughing up an artist and taking back the $50 he had paid the man to do the work.
Aiden Hudson, 19, pleaded not guilty to unarmed robbery in Westland 18th District Court, Hometownlife.com reports. Bond was set at $25,000/10 percent surety.
Police said Hudson went to the Inked Detroit Tattoo shop at 8347 N. Wayne Road to have a star inked on his hand at an agreed upon price of $50, which Hudson paid.

Once the work was done and the artist refused to return the $50 payment, the situation turned ugly.
Westland police alleged Hudson punched the artist in the face several times and cut him in a manner that caused him to bleed before fleeing. Police located him later at his home in the 30000 block of Geraldine, where he was arrested.

Hudson’s next court date is Dec. 10 for a probable cause hearing.
