During the meeting, at least one suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the victim, whose age and hometown wasn't released by officials, police said.
The suspects then got into a car and drove away from the parking lot with the victim following them close behind, police said.
At one point, someone from inside the suspect's car fired shots before crashing into a ditch, police said.
After the car crashed into the ditch, four people got out and tried running away on foot, but nearby Canton officers quickly caught them, police said.
It was unclear if the fourth person running from the car will face any charges. Police also did not say what the victim was selling to the suspects.
