Unofficial Results: Conzelman Edges Bridgman for Plymouth Township Clerk

Nancy Conzelman edges incumbent Plymouth Township Clerk Joe Bridgman by 8 votes.

Challenger has defeated incumbent Plymouth Township Clerk by 8 votes Tuesday in the Republican primary, according to unofficial results from the Plymouth Township clerk's office.

According to the results, Conzelman tallied 2,246 votes, while Bridgman earned 2,238.

There was no Democratic candidate seeking nomination in the race for clerk, so the winner once votes are certified will be the presumptive winner of the November election.

Given the narrow gap in votes, a recount could be called, but Bridgman was unavailable for comment Tuesday.

In other Plymouth Township races, Treasurer won his nomination against challenger with about 54 percent of the vote. He will face Democrat in the Nov. 6 election.
