Plymouth received a pair of goals in regulation from Ryan Hartman (12-13), while the Petes got goals from Josh Maguire (3) and Michael Clarke (9).

Hartman scored the only goal of the first period at 19:32 of the first period, accepting Zach Lorentz's pass from the left wing in the Peterborough zone and redirecting the puck past Petes' goaltender Andrew D'Agostini.

Peterborough came back to lead, 2-1.  Maguire scored on a deflection off his hip through traffic from a point shot by Connor Boland at 16:19 of the second period and Clarke gave Peterborough their first lead a 16:00 of the third period, accepting Stephen Nosad's pass and burying the shot from the hashmarks.

But Hartman tied the game at 2-2 on a power play at 17:36, capping good Plymouth pressure.  He took a rising shot from the top of the left circle that ended up in the back of the net when a screened D'Agositini reacted late.

After a scoreless overtime, Zach Lorentz scored the only shootout goal for Plymouth - his sixth shootout goal in seven attempts this season. Nick Ritchie replied for Peterborough and then Tanus won it, scoring with a shot top-shelf.

Plymouth plays on the road on Wednesday in Belleville and Friday in Oshawa before breaking for Christmas.
