Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) invites volunteers to take part in Hope in Action 2026, a day of service dedicated to strengthening the Pontiac community and supporting individuals and families working to rebuild their lives through GCH’s programs.
Hope in Action brings together hundreds of volunteers to serve, restore, and reflect God’s love through meaningful, hands-on work. From improving living spaces to revitalizing community areas, volunteers play a direct role in advancing the life-changing work happening every day at Grace Centers of Hope.
Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, families, church groups, and corporate teams, with projects designed to make a lasting impact across GCH’s campus and surrounding Pontiac neighborhoods. Projects include:
- Landscaping at Grace Centers of Hope facilities and residential homes
- Porch painting and outdoor beautification
- Community garden revitalization and preparation
- Garden fence installation
- Playground and daycare refresh projects (power washing, mulch, painting)
- Neighborhood cleanup and litter removal in surrounding areas
Meals will be provided for all volunteers at Noon.
All tools and materials will be supplied, though volunteers are welcome to bring additional gardening tools if available.
Whether you serve for a few hours or the full day, Hope in Action offers a meaningful opportunity to give back, connect with others, and improve your community.
