• Here's when the Gordie Howe International Bridge will open to traffic (clickondetroit.com) — From River Rouge you can already see the new Gordie Howe International Bridge, which will open to vehicle traffic at noon on Monday, July 27. The crossing links I-75 in Detroit to Highway 401 in Ontario, with a toll-free path for walkers and cyclists opening Aug. 5. Officials have also released detailed toll rates and a discount program for frequent users.
