• Alumnus David Rochemont wins Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year Award (hfcc.edu) — River Rouge residents might be proud to learn that neighbor and Dearborn High math teacher David Rochemont has just been named a 2026 Alberta Muirhead Teacher of the Year. The HFC alumnus was honored for inspiring students to tackle rigorous coursework, see college as achievable, and connect classroom learning to future opportunities, all while crediting his own mentors for shaping his path into education.
