Mayor Bryan Barnett says an informal survey shows nearly 70% of businesses delaying capital projects, and he's joining other border-city mayors in pressing Washington and Ottawa for a quick, negotiated solution.

Additional ceremonies and performances across the region will honor the attacks' 25th anniversary with music, readings, and community gatherings.
   

4. More than $2 million in grants boost state's agricultural production (ourmidland.com) — Rochester Hills' Dutton Farm Inc. is receiving a $100,000 state grant aimed at strengthening Michigan's food and agriculture supply chain and creating local jobs. It's one of 28 projects sharing $2.3 million statewide, bringing new investment, potential employment opportunities, and expanded access to locally produced foods that could directly benefit residents and nearby communities.
   

5. Prep Roundup: Shutout earns Milford its third LVC win in a row (theoaklandpress.com) — Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest's boys soccer team continued its strong start, topping Royal Oak Shrine 3–1 and extending its winning streak to five games. The wider prep roundup also highlights other metro Detroit soccer and volleyball results, but Lutheran Northwest's performance and unbeaten Catholic League run stand out for Rochester Hills families following local high school sports.
