1 Dead, 1 Injured In Oakland County Shooting: Sheriff
Police said a man and his girlfriend attacked the former boyfriend of the girl inside a Pontiac convenience store.
PONTIAC, MI — A man was killed and a woman was injured in a Tuesday night shooting in Pontiac, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Darien Louis Bragg, 23, of Pontiac, was fatally shot in the chest at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at a convenience store in the 600 block of Cesar Chavez in Pontiac, according to the sheriff's office.
A 23-year-old Pontiac woman was also shot in the abdomen and was taken to a nearby hospital where she was listed in serious condition, according to the sheriff's office.

A 21-year-old Pontiac man was arrested in connection with the shooting without incident.
Sheriff's officials said the 21-year-old Pontiac man was trying to buy some items inside the store Tuesday night when Bragg and his girlfriend attacked him from behind.

The three fell to the ground, with Bragg and his girlfriend landing on top of the 21-year-old man and hitting him, according to the sheriff's office.
The Pontiac man then pulled out a handgun and fired a single shot, fatally striking Bragg in the chest, according to the sheriff's office.
The round went through Bragg's chest and struck the woman in the abdomen, according to the sheriff's office.
The 21-year-old Pontiac man, who is the former boyfriend of the injured woman, then tried to pay for his merchandise and waited for officers to arrive, according to the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office will turn over the investigation to the prosecutor for review.
