6 New Retailers to Open at The Village of Rochester Hills

P.F. Chang's, Campus Den, breakfast restaurant The Jagged Fork, Soft Surroundings, Blossom Collection, and Toyology are the new additions.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI —The Village of Rochester Hills will soon welcome six new businesses, Scott Aikens, the vice chairman of the company that handles leasing for the mall, announced. The newcomers will include P.F. Chang's, Campus Den, breakfast restaurant The Jagged Fork, Soft Surroundings, Blossom Collection, and Toyology, according to media reports.

Aikens told the business journal that when he realized stores like Lululemon Athletica, Douglas J Salon and PaperSource were doing well in The Village, he decided to focus on attracting retailers that moms and women like.

He's working on incorporating specific tenants "to more tightly serve the local community," he said.

P.F. Chang's is a casual Asian restaurant that's expected to open in mid-2017, says The Oakland Press. The restaurant will open in the 5,800-square-foot space that used to be Max & Erma's.

"P.F. Chang's will be a great fit for the community and fill a need," Aikens said, according to Crain's Detroit Business.

Soft Surroundings has jewelry, women's clothes, and home and beauty products. The store will open in the spring in the space between Chico's and Williams-Sonoma.

Blossom Collection, developments by Moceri Cos. will be the first office tenant at the Village. It's made for residents 55 years and up and will open between B Spot Burgers and Noodles & Co.

The breakfast and lunch spot The Jagged Fork will open its second location at The Village in March or April. Their first location is in Grosse Pointe Farms, and now they'll take over the spot in The Village that formerly housed Subway.

The new Campus Den will replace American Eagle Outfitters any day now, Aikens said. The store sells Michigan university and pro sports apparel.

Michigan-based toy store Toyology opened in The Village earlier this month between Lane Bryant and Paper Source. The toy store also has locations in West Bloomfield Township, Howell and Royal Oak.
