Ahmadiyya Muslim Community holds STOP WW3 Awareness campaign

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Michigan held “STOP WW3” Awareness Campaign' on Saturday December 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Rochester Hills downtown area.

This campaign is part of the US wide initiative to highlight the urgent need to help STOP the march of humanity towards a devastating THIRD WORLD WAR. Through this initiative, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community invite our fellow American colleagues, neighbors, and friends to join our efforts to take humanity on a pathway to peace and study the solutions proposed by Islam.

The direction the world is moving in suggests that the dark shadow of war is being cast over a large part of the globe. If war breaks out, then countless innocent people will die, and the destruction will be greater than was witnessed in the previous two World Wars.

By holding Stop World War 3 events nationwide, we are raising awareness of this important issue and how it can be avoided. We invite you to come and join us and help advance the cause of global justice and peace.

Although the conditions were very cold and windy in the Rochester Hills downtown, downtown was full of people due to the 700-year-old tradition of the open-air Christmas-Kris Kringle Market inspired by Europe. This event attracts thousands of people for its featured one-of-a-kind shopping, specialty foods, fresh greens & wreaths, and handcrafted gifts for the holiday.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Rochester Hills gathered at Masjid Mahmood for the Zuhr prayers and left for the campaign after silent prayers

Eight volunteers spent almost two hours displaying the poster and banners in the heart of downtown Rochester Hills. Almost 100+ flyers along with some Jama’at literature books were also distributed.
