Avondale School District, an achievement-oriented learning community focused on student leadership and success in academics, the arts and athletics, announces that Julie Lublin has been named Assistant Principal of Avondale High School.
Lublin had been Assistant Principal at Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne Michigan for the 2010-2011 school year. Prior to that, she served as a counselor at Plymouth High School from 2005 to 2010 and Madison High School from 2003 to 2005. Lublin began her educational career as a language arts teacher in Clarkston Community Schools in 2000. She holds a Master of Arts degree in teaching and curriculum from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Oakland University. Lublin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in communications from Michigan State University.
